Objective:To observe distribution of TCM syndromes about functional dyspepsia(FD) and investigate correlation between electrogastrogram with different TCM syndromes of functional dyspepsia.Method:The cases were collected in The First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Chinese Medicine outpatient and inpatient department in patients with FD from August2013to January2015. FD patient will be divided into the following five syndrome types according to Chinese Medical Consensus of Dyspepsia:spleen-deficiency and qi-stagnation syndrome(SDQS)%live-stomach incoordination syndrome(LSI)、Spleen-Stomach Dampness-Heat syndrome(SSDT)、 spleen-stomach deficiency-cold syndrome(SSDC)、cold-heat mixed syndrome(CHM), Computing The proportion of each syndrome type.Each group were randomly selected20cases from the five syndromes of patients,and10healthy persons were selected as normal group. Analysis the dominant frequeney(DF)、percentage of normal gastric slow wave(N%)^reaction area(RA)、postprandial to fasting(PF) of five groups patients and the normal group.Result:1.In273cases of FD,the frequencies of occurrence of different TCM syndromes were:LSI (75),SSDH (72),SDQS (68),SSDC (38),CHM (20).2.Electrogastrogram:(1) DF:There were no significant differences between five group of FD and the normal group on gastric body and gastric antrum preprandial DF (P>0.05).And it is no significant difference between the five groups(P>0.05); With preprandial compare,the normal postprandial goes up(P<0.01).(2) N%:Each group of FD on gastric body and gastric antrum preprandial N%is below65%, less than the normal value.Compared with the normal group,five group of FD preprandial and postprandial N%lower than that, there was significant difference(P<0.01);CHM N%is significantly higher than the other four groups on gastric body(P<0.01); SDQS was higher than that of LSI(P<0.01); Postprandial LSI N%was lower than that of SDQS and SSDC, there was statistical significance (P<0.05). The five group of FD were observed that preprandial N%had no statistical difference on gastric antrum(P>0.05), but after the meal that LSI is lower than that of SDQS, SSDH,SSDC.The postprandial N%of SSDC was increased compared with preprandial(P<0.01), but the rest of the four groups showed no significant change (P>0.05).(3) RA:The FD patients compared with the normal group, the gastric body and antrum before a meal were lower than the normal group,the difference has statistically significant (P<0.05).Comparison between groups on the gastric body, SSDH postprandial RA was significantly higher than that of SSDC and CHM.With preprandial compare,the SSDH postprandial RA goes up obviously(P<0.01).(4) PR:SDQS and SSDH are higher than SSDC on gastric body (P<0.05);SSDH and LSI are higher than SSDC on gastric antrum (P<0.05);The results show that the RA of SSDC is lower than other groups.Conclusion:1.The research showed that LSI is the most common TCM Syndrome Type in FD,The second is the SSDH,SDQS.These three types are the main type of this region.2.Compared with normal people, patients with FD have abnormal electrical activity of the stomach before meals and after meals which is suggesting that abnormal gastric electrical activity is one of the pathogenesis of FD. And the different TCM Syndrome Types in patients with gastric electrical activity show that there is a relationship between TCM syndrome type with Electrogastrogram.Further more,EGG has Great significance on the TCM syndrome differentiation, it is worth further research and promotion.
