Objective:"Orthopedics pill" is developed by Mr.Zhuang Zichen,one of the founders of Quanzhou orthopedic hospital, from years of use based on his experience, the main component of Eupolyphaga, Drynaria, Dragon’s Blood, Angelica, Angelica dehurica, frankincense, myrrh, calcined pyritum, habitat, wine rhubarb. Function for blood circulation, bone continued reinforcement. Mainly used in the treatment of early and mid-fracture, used to promote fracture healing, the clinical use of twenty years, and achieved more satisfactory clinical efficacy. This paper summarizes the basis of the previous work experience and other scholars study, observe,"Orthopedics pill" to promote clavicle fracture healing clinical results, further studies are pills have mechanisms to promote clavicle fracture healing, as "Orthopedics pill" applications and promotion offers further clinical basis.Methods:A randomized controlled study method, clavicle fractures closed reduction and percutaneous Kirschner wire fixation in30patients, according to a:design a randomly divided into15cases of oral "Orthopedics pill" treatment group,15in the control group not taking medication cases, the degree of fracture healing in both groups of X-ray classification, fracture healing time, a comparative study of serum osteocalcin, TPINP and alkaline phosphatase.Results:(1) Two groups of sex (P=1.0000.05), age (P=0.686>0.05) and type (P=.000>0.05) difference was not statistically significant.(2)The treatment group healing time was significantly shorter than the control group (P=0.000<0.05).(3) After the first two sets of measurements of serum osteocalcin (P=0.355>0.05), TPINP (P=0.924>0.05) and alkaline phosphatase (P=0.322>0.05) content of no significant difference. Serum osteocalcin (P=0.000<0.05), TPINP (P=0.000<0.05) and alkaline phosphatase (P=0.000<0.05) after8weeks of content were significantly higher, but after16weeks the control group TPINP (P=0.000<0.05) and alkaline phosphatase (P=0.000<0.05) levels were significantly higher than the treatment group, but both groups osteocalcin (P=0.751>0.05) had no significant contrast differences.Conclusion:(1)"Orthopedics pill" can promote the peak of TPINP and Alkaline phosphatase in serum early appearance, with the promotion of clavicle fracture healing, but both sensitive to lost "Orthopedics pill" for promoting bone healing, so both in serum decreased significantly after the withdrawal.(2)"Orthopedics pill" can promote an increase of Osteocalcin in serum, with the promotion of clavicle fracture healing, but Osteocalcin is relatively insensitive to lose "Orthopedics pill" for promoting fracture healing, so after discontinuation of "Orthopedics pill". Osteocalcin of treatment group remained at a relatively stable state, rather than decreased rapidly.(3)"Orthopedics pill" promote clavicle fracture healing, and its mechanism may promote healing by increasing Osteocalcin,TPINP and Alkaline phosphatase levels in serum to enhance osteoblast activity and promote calcium deposition, increased bone strength, in order to achieve the purpose of promoting fracture healing.(4)"Orthopedics pill" promote clavicle fracture healing, fracture healing time can be shortened, to early removal of limb braking, reduce fractures bring patients the inconvenience of working life, improve the quality of life of patients, is a species worthy of further promoting the use of drugs.
