The surgical operation is a kind of clinical treatment means, but it usuallyproduces wound of different degree to patients’ mind and body. Therefore, the surgicaloperation has become a source of stress often makes the patients anxiety and evenlead to bad treatment effect of surgical operation. So it is a very important problem ofboth clinical medical persons and related researchers to lower the influence uponmental status of patients before the operation.Preoperative-visit, as the first link of the whole period nursing of operation, cansatisfy patients’ information demand before the operation, erase their doubts, defusetheir tensions, so that the patients can receive operation in good condition and it isoptical points to the scholars. On the study of currently domestic information demandof preoperative-visit researches, the items are scarcely investigated and teasedsystematically and comprehensively. Most of related problems have been designedfrom the subjective select, but the preoperative-visit contents should be designedtargeted and upon patients’ need and sorted by the important degree and the sequence.Therefore, it’s exactly the starting point of this research to study the patients’information demand of preoperative-visit from the angle of patients. It can embodythe clinical principle of ‘Taking patients as the center’.PurposeFrom the basic perspective of patients’ need, taking the preoperative-visitinformation demand of patients as the starting point, and making reference todomestic and international related theories and practices of preoperative-visit ofdeveloped areas, such as the United States, Singapore and Hong Kong, According tothe situation of our country, screening the dimensions and contents conform to ournative patients’ demand. Design the questionnaire to inquire the different demand. Theaim of the study is to put forward more specific content framework ofpreoperative-visit, to provide a reference for drawing up a normal and scientific formulation and content of preoperative-visit.Method(1) Method of investigation:By making use of CNKI, Wanfang database and PubMed, review domestic andinternational literatures to understand Present condition of the preoperative-visit.(2)Comparative study and logical induce:According to compare between different questionnaire survey of internationalscholars, find the shortcomings and summary the preoperative-visit contents.(3)Questionnaire survey:Confirm7dimensions and33sub items of preoperative-visit through literatureresearch, then design the questionnaire to survey the differences in informationdemand of patients.Result⑴After preoperative visiting, the visiting personnel allocate the questionnaires,which will be taken back on the spot.Total:101; Recall:101; Efficiency:100%.⑵According to the results of preoperative-visit questionnaires, the mostimportant issues:①Postoperative analgesia;②The effect of anesthesia;③Price ofdrugs and surgical operation;④Level and title of surgeon, more than70%patientschoose ‘very demand’. Moreover, some patients display a high demand towards theskills of rehabilitation training and related knowledge of health care, which isdifferent from international investigations.⑶By analyzing of impact factors of preoperative mental status, the resultsindicate that those patients who once received operation are more relax. The resultsare significantly different.(P<0.05)⑷By analyzing of impact factors of patients’ information demand, the resultssuggest that those factors will impact patients’ information demand, such as Sex, Age,The type of residence, Experienced operation or not, The degree of understanding tothe operation, Preoperative psychological state, The type of pay. The results aresignificantly different.(P<0.05)Conclusion⑴The information demand of patients towards the selected contents aregenerally high The results of the study show that patients have high demand on the items, mostof the results are consistent with the abroad, but domestic patients also pay greatattention to the item of postoperative rehabilitation techniques and related health careknowledge before surgery, while foreign patients care them after surgery.⑵Patients’information demand are affected by many factorsThe results show that patients’ information demand is influenced by many factors,such as gender, age, residence type etc. The patients with different characteristics payattention to different information and their attention degree are different.
