| Objective:(1)To investigate the impact of BAFF on serum andPBBC of BXSB lupus nephritis patients.(2) The main role of traditionalChinese and western medicine in patients with lupus nephritis.Method: Analysis of the clinical data of50cases of BXSB lupusnephritis patients in our hospital from March2011to March2013statistically. According to random number table method, these patientscan be divided into observation group and control group with25cases ineach group. Observation group was analyzed by given treatment bytraditional Chinese medicine (TCM) was with24h urine proteinquantitative determination, determination of peripheral blood B cellBAFF-mRNA expression and kidney pathological observationResults: After treatment,24h urinary protein, ds-DNA content andweight, serum and peripheral blood B lymphocytes sBAFF BAFF-mRNAlevels of patients in the observation group were significantly lower (P<0.05) than the patient in control group. the changes of24h urinaryprotein, ds-DNA content and weight, serum sBAFF and BAFF-mRNAlevels before and after treatment were significantly greater (P <0.05); thekidney tissue AI after treatment was significantly lower than those of thecontrol group (P <0.05); the lupus nephritis sBAFF serum levels and AI,24h urinary protein excretion an ds-DNA antibody showed a significantpositive correlation (P <0.05). Conclusion: Table1showed that the24h urine protein of twogroups of patients before treatment between the quantitative and ds-DNA content and weight of the difference were not obvious (P>0.05),after treatment the24h urine protein quantitative observation group ofpatients, ds-DNA content and body weight were significantly lower thanthe control group (P <0.05), before and after treatment the24h urineprotein quantitative observation group of patients, ds-DNA content andweight were significantly larger than the control group (P <0.05);Table2shows that patients from the two groups before treatment with serumsBAFF and peripheral blood B lymphocytes BAFF-mRNA leveldifferences were not significant (P>0.05), the observation group aftertreatment in patients with serum BAFF and sBAFF-mRNA levels weresignificantly lower than the control group (P <0.05), the observationgroup of patients before and after treatment serum sBAFF and BAFF-mRNA level changes were significantly larger than the control group (P <0.05);Table3shows that after treatment, the observation group’s renaltissue AI was obviously lower than the control group (P <0.05) whichfully illustrates that the traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) lupus cansignificantly reduce BAFF levels and the condition of patients with lupusnephritis can be improvement;This study also shows that patients’ lupusnephritis, AI,24h urine protein level of serum sBAFF quantitative and ds-DNA antibodies were in positive correlation (P <0.05). It fully illustrates that the BAFF is capable of predicating condition change and prognosisof patients with lupus nephritis and it is an ideal target for the treatmentof with lupus nephritis.The use of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatmentof nephritis lupus is to minimize the adverse effects of Western medicinefor its side effects of long-term use. The current clinical treatment usuallyadopts combination of Chinese and Western treatment according tothe clinical manifestations of the patients and activities of lupus. WhenLN in the active stage, Western medicine treatment is taken as the mainmeans and Chinese traditional treatment is as adjuvant therapy.It can control the illness as early as possible;when LN in remission period,it usually takes traditional Chinese medicine as main means and Westernmedicine treatment as adjuvant therapy. It can enhance the immunity ofthe patients. In the entire treatment course of LN, it not only reflects theadvantage of Western medicine, but also gives play to Chinese traditionaltreatment at the same time, so to make the treatment of LN moreeffective. |
