In the first part of this study,magnesium nitrate hexahydrate and calcium nitratetetrahydrate and TEOS were fabricated for bone repair.Calcium MagnesiumSilicate/PBS(CMS/PBS)porous scaffold was made through particle strippingmethod.We tested its porosity degradability,the scaffolds showed impressivebiodegradability and tissue compatibility in vitro experiments.In the second part of this study,we use the MC3T3-E1cells to test thematerials’cell compatibility.In the experiment the MC3T3-E1cells propagate verywell and adhere to the materials.The synthesis and secretion of alkaline phosphatasein MC3T3-E1cells also increased in CMS/PBS group;the materials did not showsignificant cytotoxicity in the cell experiment.In the third part of this research,we implanted the scaffold into rabbit’sthighbone coloboma,and the scaffold degraded while the new bone replace thematerials at the same time.Almost after3months,the CMS/PBS degraded totally andthe thighbone coloboma had been repaired. |
