Objective:By analyzing the151cases of the breast cancer from the AffiliatedHospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine hospitalized patients,toexplore the incidence of the breast cancer in patients with cancer-related depression.And toanalyze the relevant factors of the depression.Methods:Inpatients are investigated by questionnaire.analyzing the data with SPSS17.0statistical software to investigate the incidence of the breast cancer depression andits risk factors,as well as the TCM syndrome.Results:The incidence of the breast cancer depression is58.9%.And the mild breastcancer depression is41.06%,the moderate depression is16.56%,the severe depression is1.32%.There is no relationship between family history of the breast cancer,place ofresidence,informed, marital status and breast cancer depression.Age, economic status,education level, pain, number of chemotherapy, clinical stage, duration, TCM type ofdepression in patients with breast cancer occurring differences were statistically significant(P <0.05).Spearman analysis showed that the incidence of depression in patients withbreast cancer and age, economic status, pain, duration of strong correlation. TCM type ofliver Qi stagnation, Chong and Ren disorders, toxic heat stasis, blood deficiency, theincidence rates were79.66%,33.33%,55.81%,46.15%.Conclusion: The incidence of breast cancer patients with depression is high, copingwith pain and economic burden, TCM type of qi stagnation,clinical stage and the numberof breast cancer patients with chemotherapy wait psychological interventions such as earlydiagnosis and treatment, improve the quality of life of patients.
