Objective: Research the basic and clinical of thoracoclumbar fractures inankylosing spondylitis, provide a reference for clinical treatment.Methods: Statistics from August2011to August2013,in shandong university hospitalof traditional chinese medicine spine orthopaedic in parallel and surgical treatment of16cases of ankylosing spondylitis patients with thoracolumbar stress fracture,throughcomparing patients with preoperative and postoperative VAS score, the improvement of theprotruding after postoperative spinal deformity Cobb Angle, by analysis statistical data, toevaluate the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis and stress fractures of the thoracolumbar,through the posterior pedicle screw rod system.Results:All16patients were successfully surgical treated, through posterior pediclescrew system.There are significant differences in statistics of VAS score and spinaldeformity Cobb Angle.And all of the patients fracture have been osseous healing.Conclusion:1. Posterior pedicle screw rod system can correct the backward deformityof the spine, and reconstruction of spinal stability.There is a clear operation curative effecton ankylosing spondylitis and stress fractures of the thoracolumbar.2. The posteriorfixation need to extend1-2vertebral body from up and down.It is a long segmental screwrod system.
