Intervention Study Of Zhuang Jin Point Acupuncture Therapy Combined With McKenzie Therapy On The Neck Type Of Cervical Spondylosis

The neck type of cervical spondylosis is the early stage of cervical spondylosis, which is one of the major injuries in static exercise projects such as chess tournament.In the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, the occurrence and development of cervical spondylosis are based on the cervical degeneration; furthermore, adverse external factors lead to cervical intervertebral disc biomechanical imbalance and joint stress changing. In those reasons which induce this disease, the deficiency of liver and kidney is pivotal, so it can be cured through tonifying kidney and strengthen sinew. This study collected research progress related to neck type of cervical spondylosis through literature method. Aiming at the pain of head, neck and shoulder, which is the main symptom of the neck type of cervical spondylosis, experimental method and mathematical statistics method were used as the research technique, ZhuangJin acupoint acupuncture therapy and McKenzie therapy were designed as interventions, and young college students were set as the object. Patients’physical changes of soft tissue and symptoms indicators were observed to explore the curative effects and the mechanisms of acupuncture therapy and McKenzie therapy, to search the best option of treating neck type of cervical spondylosis and preventing its recurrence, and to provide the theoretical evidence for the research of the neck type of cervical spondylosis and tonifying kidney and strengthen sinew therapy on the treatment of osteoarticular disease.Results are as follows:1 In Simple Zhuang Jin acupoint acupuncture therapy group(AT group), simple McKenzie Therapy group(MT group)and Zhuang Jin acupoint acupuncture therapy combined with McKenzie Therapy group(AM group), the clinical symptoms are relieved effectively (P<0.01) and the cure rate of AM group is higher than other two groups (P<0.05)2 AT group,MT group and AM group can all significantly reduce the VAS score (P<0.001) as well as the NDI score (P<0.01); AT group and AM group show extremely significant intra-group differences.3 AT group,MT group and AM group show significantly improvement of SpO2 after treatment (P<0.01) and AT group is significantly higher than the pathological control group (P<0.05).4 MT group and AM group show significantly decrease of IEMG and RMS value of the neck muscles (P<0.05). AT group shows significant difference in IEMG, RMS and MPF.5 Applying McKenzie therapy once in every two or three days during the treatment can effectively reduce the score of VAS.Conclusion:1 Zhuang Jin acpoint acupuncture therapy combined with McKenzie Therapy, Zhuang Jin acpoint Acupuncture therapy or McKenzie therapy all have the positive effect on the treatment of cervical spondylosis.The effects of the first two are significantly higher and Zhuang Jin acpoint Acupuncture therapy combined with McKenzie Therapy was the best cure.2 Zhuang Jin acupoint Acupuncture therapy can improve muscle fatigue resistance as well as the oxygen saturation of muscle tissue. The result is in agreement with the function of Zhuang Jin acupoint described in Traditional Chinese medicine theory. The effect of Tonifying kidney and strengthen sinew therapy has been proved.3 McKenzie therapy can also increase muscle tissue oxygen saturation and muscle fatigue resistance.4 In order to prevent the recurrence of the disease effectively, neck McKenzie exercise should be taken regularly.
