The Clinical Study About Finger-pressing With Acupuncture Combined With Metformin Hydrochloride In Treating Early Obesity In Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus

Purpose: In the guidance of acupuncture and massage of Chinese medicine, the purpose of this research is mainly to verify the therapeutic efficacy of early T2 DM obesity which treated by figure-pressing combine with acupuncture, which by conducting figure-pressing combine acupuncture with Metformin hydrochloride to compare with signal drug therapy method, and to provide objective evidence for figure-pressing clinical application.Method: The 60 cases of early T2 DM obesity patients are randomly divided into two groups for 30 cases of treatment group and 30 cases of compared group, the treatment group adopts the methods of figure-pressing combine acupuncture with Metformin hydrochloride,while the compared group simply uses Metformin hydrochloride. Compare the treatment method with evaluation standard of therapeutic efficacy, and conducting statistical analysis for the change of parameter index and therapeutic efficacy. Afterward, the therapeutic efficacy of the two methods and the symptoms of the patients before and after treatment are precisely compared. The treatment results of the treatment group are obviously superior to that of the compared group.Result: The total clinical effective rate of the treatment group and the compared group is93.3% and 71.7%, respectively. This result suggests that therapeutic effect of figure-pressing combine acupuncture with Metformin hydrochloride to treat early T2 DM obesity is significantly improved compared with simply applying Metformin hydrochloride. Two group of patients after treatment for weight, waistline, BMI, FPG and 2hPG are significantly declined and P<0.01, compared with those before treatment, furthermore, P<0.05 of treatment group is significantly declined compared with compared group.Conclusion: The Figure-pressing combine acupuncture with Metformin hydrochloride is effective and lasting method. Moreover, the dependence and side-effect of Metformin hydrochloride are expelled through use this treatment method. Accordingly, the method offigure-pressing combine acupuncture with Metformin hydrochloride is more worthy of popularization and application in the clinical treatment.
