| Objective:At present, there are less thesises related about the dates of facial morphological characteristics domestically. The two parts of this thesis is to determine facial morphological characteristics of female Uighur youth,comparing with Han youth in the same school. It can provide the relevant date for eye aesthetic plastic surgery for the female Uighur youth. Methods:Therefore, this article is mainly studied on eye and nose morphological characteristics of Uighur young female. Results:The rate of epicanthus of Uighur women was 28%, it was significantly lower than the Han nationality women1 62.7%. Double eyelid incidence was 96.7%, it was significantly higher than the Han Chinese women’67.3%. Nasal root salient 60.8% was the commonest in the Uighur young women,the middle nasal type 39.2% was the second common, no nasal root low. Viewed from side of the straight noses was 65.8%, Alar rim 69.2% was dimpling. The nostril shape 64.2% was ovoid or triangle, tip position 81.7 was horizontal direction, nasal base 59.2% was flat. It was a statistically insignificant difference between them in Palpebral fissure lengthã€inner canthic diameter and outer canthic diameter, but a statistically significant difference in the Height of palpebral fissureã€the width of Double eyelid and the distance between the eyebrow eyelid.And among the 12 linear distances,6 linearity distances in young women of Uighur were bigger and othe 6 were smaller than the han young women, the nasolabial angle, the nasorostral angle were smaller, the nasofrontal angle was bigger. Among 6 proportion indexes, nasal index and the nasal bridge index of Han were bigger; the rest 4 nasal indexes were smaller. The measured data mentioned-above had the remarkable statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusion:The Uighur women’facial morphology has a dual characteristics of Caucasoid and mongoloid. The date have great significance and value to guide the facial cosmetic plastic surgery. |
