| Objective:To investigate the clinical characteristics and prognosis of different breast cancer molecular subtypes with Uygur and Han. Methods:Clinicopathological and follow-up date of 1006 cases of operable female breast cancer at Xinjiang Tumor Hospital between January 2008 and December 2010 were analyzed retrospectively. Breast cancer patients were divided into:Luminal A subtype,Luminal B subtypes,HER-2 subtype and Basal-like subtype, based on ER,PR,HER-2 and Ki-67.Different molecular subtypes clinical features and prognosis were observed. Results:In Uygur patients, Luminal A subtype, Luminal B subtype,HER-2 subtype and Basal-like subtype took up 49.4%(120/243),18.1%(44/243),13.2%(32/243),19.3%(47/243), the corresponding proportions were 56.5%(431/763),18.1%(138/763),5.9%(45/763),19.5%(149/763) in Han(x2=14.432, p=0.002).In Uygur patients, distant metastasis rate of Luminal A subtype and recurrence rate of LuminalB subtype were higher than Han (x2=7.716,p=0.005;x2=6.352,p=0.012).6-year DFS for Luminal A subtype is lower than the Han (p<0.05),6-years OS and DFS for Luminal B subtype were lower than Han (p<0.05).Multivariate analysis revealed that tumor size, lymph node status, histological grade, and molecular subtypes were the independent prognostic factors affecting OS. Conclusion:Compared with the Han with breast cancer, A larger proportion of HER-2 subtype were observed in Uygur. Uygur patients have the higher recurrence rate in Luminal B and transfer rate in Luminal A than Han.Luminal B subtype in Uygur has the worse prognosis than in Han.Tumor size, lymph node status, histological grade, and molecular subtypes were the independent prognostic factors. |
