| LED(Light Emitting Diode)as the most meaningful innovation of the lighting field in the 21 century, now has been widely used in many other fields such as the agriculture,medical treatment and wireless communication.In recent years, difficulty in wound healing is a common complication of many disease and it’s incidence is still on the rising. With the increase of incidence rate of bedridden, chonric venous insufficiency,diabetes and atherosclerosis-prone ulcers, the wound ulcers is gradually increasing, which bring difficulties in the wound healing, the whole therapy time and the expenses will increase at the same time. The principle of light therapy is that the specified wavelength monochrome can affect the cell biological behavior without damage. The traditional wound healing method use laser as the light source which is big in size, expensive and not useful for large area wound, so its application in the clinical is limited. Now with the development of LED technology, the light intensity of LED has been highly improved, making it possible to replace the laser in the wound healing application. LED also has several advantages such as small in size, cheap, and useful for large area wound by the way in array arrangement, making it suitable candidate for using in the wound healing.The previous studies show that:630-830nm near infrared light can promote the wound healing. Near infrared light can induce the produce of 72-kDa heat shock protein (HSP 70). HSP 70 is a protein generated in body to improve the ability to resist hypoxia, ischemia, inflammation, heavy metal pollution and endotoxin pollution. Monochromatic light therapy can promote the ability of cell division and proliferation. It also promotes the fibroblast synthesis which can contribute to the scar formation.According to Rodrigo SM’s research:light therapy can promote the wound healing both in the direct illuminate area and other place in the illuminated animal body. This research is innovativeness which use the LED as the irradiation bomb to cure the wound. Compared with the normal used laser equirement, LED has many advantages:smaller in size, cheaper in cost and can be arranged in combination to cure the diffrent size wound.At the same time the red and infrared LED were choosed as the irradiation bomb to analyse the effect of LED used in the wound healing field. Which can have a comprehensive analysis.Also on the basis of the theory research, we do some design work on the related medical instrument which can fill the national blank in this field and make contributions to the social and economic benifits. |
