Objective:To analyse the results of 8846 cases of different nationalities newborn hearing screening,and different national incidence of neonatal hearing impairment and factors which can influence the screening.Methods:For different nationalities of neonatal who lived birth and agreed to participate the test of hearing screening, the first test at 24h,using distortion product ear acoustic emission (DPOAE) test,.No through the early screening test babies at 42 days received DPOAE again.Baby who still no through at 3 months and 6 months of age in anesthesia care downward auditory brainstem evoked ABR,ASSR and the acoustic immittance test.Single ear and two ears no pass are failed, sometimes by more than two repeat tests.Results:8846 cases of newborns in 15 cases were finally diagnosed children with hearing loss, hearing loss detection rate was 1.7‰ (15/8846),11 han cases while the detection rate of 1.74‰ (11/6305), ethnic minorities were 4 cases of newborn, detection rate was 1.57‰ (4/2541).In the han nationality and ethnic minorities in the newborn, different ears at the beginning of other screen pass rate difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Low birth weight, asphyxia, high bilirubin concentration and different delivery methods on different national newborns are the influence factors of early screen pass rate, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:The newborn hearing screening of all newborn babies should was needed, for a good job in pregnancy health propaganda and education, at the same time for perinatal newborn also need to consider many related factors, to avoid the happening of hearing impairment.
