Objective:The ultimate goal of this concept is to compare with the 3 kinds of bone age Determination(Greulich-Pyle method,R and C skeletal age score method) in Xinjiang Uygur short stature children to guide the clinical application.method:In the First Affiliated Hospital of Medical University and the first people’s Hospital,125X-ray cases of short stature were recruited(62Males and 63 females),Divided into 4 groups:female and male immature group, the corresponding development group. Results:(1)In the Uygur female development group,statistically significant difference was identified with R and C skeletal age score method(2) Bone age less than 2 years old of chronological age, Greulich-Pyle method,R and C skeletal age score method,respectively,were backward 28,19and 33cases,the backward cases of three methods were 15cases.Conclusion:(1)For short stature Uygur preteen girls, we does not recommend C skeletal age score method.(2)In the clinical work, using Greulich-Pyle method, C skeletal age score method to evaluate bone age backward, it is necessary to use R skeletal age score method to reduce the false positive rate of bone age in Uygur short stature children.
