Pre-hospital emergency medical services system is the most important aspect in maintaining people’s health and social stability, and plays an irreplaceable role. All around us, many acute critical illnesses happen every day, and the work of pre-hospital emergency is facing arduous tasks. Dispatchers receive emergency phone in the emergency command center and develop deployment plans. Emergency teams need to response quickly and arrived at the designated location as fast as possible, and then they should supply emergency treatment to the sick or injured person. At last, they transport patients back to a hospital to save lives of patients. Pre-hospital time shortened by one more second means more possible for patients to live.Along with the social progress, our emphasis on pre-hospital care is becoming increasingly. But when compared with foreign aid, there are still many problems in the work of pre-hospital emergency domestic. Survival rate of acute critical illness patients in the pre-hospital emergency is very low and it’s very imperative to improve the pre-hospital care.In recent years, there’s more and more study in the field of pre-hospital, but there’s still a lack of modeling research to optimize processes on pre-hospital care. So this paper uses tools to modeling and analysis pre-hospital emergency process, identifies process bottlenecks and optimizes them to reduce pre-hospital time and improve the efficiency of pre-hospital emergency process.First of all, based on the analysis of the background of emergency and the review of emergency research in domestic and international, this paper finds it’s necessary to use modeling tools to model the pre-hospital emergency process. And then, the pre-hospital care, process optimization and process modeling methods are introduced. This paper determines to choose Petri nets to model emergency process of acute critical illness through comparative analysis of process modeling methods. Next, the paper describes and analysis the current situation of domestic pre-hospital emergency process.Taking into account the diversity of domestic pre-hospital emergency models and the difficult of capturing data, this paper selects emergency Center of Jinan as research object. According to the research data, the paper identifies the pre-hospital emergency process flowchart of acute critical illness and uses Petri nets to model it, and then determines the process execution time of each link through ExSpect simulations multiples. Finally, this paper homogeneous Petri nets model to Markov chain to calculate steady-state probabilities and identifies process bottlenecks through sorting steady-state probabilities, and then analysis causes of process bottlenecks. Through consulting to experts in emergency Center and reviewing correspond research, this paper proposes improvement programs to optimize the process of pre-hospital emergency of acute critical illness. By comparing the execution time between the optimizing process and the original process, the paper defines this study can shorten the time of pre-hospital emergency of acute critical illness, and it has practical significance in pre-hospital emergency process optimization. |
