| Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a progressive degenerative disease of brain, which is the most common adult dementia, its incidence increases sharply with age. It is currently estimated that the number of the disease has been reach severe millions in China, and severe hundred thousand people increased every year. But currently there is no effective treatment and the drug of the AD, which has attracted widespread attention of many researchers and governments. Thus, to find effective measures treating AD disease is crucial. Currently, identify candidate gene associated with AD has become an effective way to study the pathogenesis of AD disease, which is by means of researching computing methods to analyze DNA microarray data that obtained by DNA microarray technology. For gene chips, most of them are from different patients, which mean that they are obtained in the different experimental environment. So these data are not entirely comparable. In this paper, just comparable data are compared with each other, and only maintain consistent gene expression at all (or most)the different experimental conditions could be recognized as AD candidate genes (ie, the expression characteristics is irrelevant with external condition). Such method of gene identification is not dependent on the statistical data. This paper screened out 56 candithdate genes that associated with AD, and obtained some information about AD after analyzing these 56 genes:First, the disorders of membrane signal transduction may be related to the occurrence of AD; second, genes related with metal ion may play critical role in AD pathology; finally, imbalance of neurotransmitter release may be an important factor for AD and apoptosis may occupy crucial position in AD pathology. The paper also briefly analyzed the potential impact of 14 candidate genes for AD disease. |
