The Compar Ing Study Of Effects Between Fire Needle Therapy And Electronic Needle Therapy

Objective:This research aim at discovering the treatment of fire needle on periarthritis of shoulder. And to explore the therapeutic effect and safety of fire needle.Methods:This research is a randomized controlled trials, the object of the study is 2014 July to 2015 February in the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Department of orthopedics and acupuncture to collect with diagnosis, included 60 cases of patients with scapulohumeral periarthritis standard. Using the simple random method 60 patients were divided into treatment group (acupuncture) and control group (EA). The treatment group of 30 cases, the treatment method for fire needle shoulder, jianliao(TE17), Jianyu(LI15), Ashi, general acupuncture depth of 0.3-0.5 inch. Treatment 2 times a week,5 times for 1 course of treatment, a total of 1 courses; 30 cases in the control group, the treatment method for acupuncture treatment group and acupuncture group, with Korean acupuncture instrument, to the density wave,2/100Hz. The strength to patients can tolerance, the needle for 25 minutes, for 2 times a week,5 times for 1 course of treatment, a total of 1 courses. The use of VAS scale and shoulder activity change scale as observation index. The shoulder pain and shoulder joint activities as indicators of efficacy. To compare the differences between the two groups before and after treatment of the data, through the collation and analysis, to evaluate the discussion.Results:The basic situation:two groups of a total of 60 patients, the treatment group male 10 cases, female 20 cases; control group male 9 cases, female 21 cases. Two groups of gender by x2 test, p=0.780> 0.5, no significant differences between the two groups in gender. The two group of age treatment group average 50.77+6.95,52+7.30 years average control group, two groups of independent sample t test, p=0.50> 0.05, no significant differences between the two groups. The two groups compared to treatment group, the average duration of 7.37+3.47 weeks, the control group the average duration of 7.80 +3.88 weeks, two groups of independent sample t test, p=0.66,> 0.05, no significant difference between the two groups. Before treatment, the VAS score, the treatment group is 6.43+1.20, the control group is 6.06+1.48, two group t test, p=0.29> 0.05, there was no significant difference between the two groups. Before the treatment of shoulder joint activity score, treatment group was 119.7+14.86; the control group was 123.6+6.81. Through group analysis of t test, the p=0.172> 0.05. It can be safely, no statistically significant difference between two groups.Pain assessment:after treatment, the treatment group VAS was the highest 4 points, the lowest 0.5, average 2.19+0.96; the control group was the highest 4 points, the lowest 1.2 points, an average of 2.81+0.82. Through t test, group analysis, paired t test were performed before and after treatment the VAS scores of the two groups, the treatment group control group p=4.1E-22< 0.01, p=7.48942E-50< 0.01. VAS scores were statistically significant differences between the two groups before and after treatment, the treatment group and the control group after one course of treatment, patients with pain was significantly improved. The two groups after treatment results were obtained after independent samples t test, p=0.008< 0.01, relieve shoulder pain and the description of fire needle acupuncture with significant difference.Activity assessment:after treatment, the treatment group shoulder joint activity score the highest 303 points, the lowest 223 points, an average of 241.13+17.17; Electroacupuncture group highest score of 251 points, the lowest 217 points, an average of 230.13+8.65. The group analysis, using the paired t test, acupuncture group and electroacupuncture group shoulder joint activity scale contrast before and after the treatment, P=0.009< 0.01, indicating that the two groups after treatment shoulder joint activity has significant difference, indicate that acupuncture group and electroacupuncture group after treatment of 1 courses of shoulder joint activity were significantly improvedEfficacy:treatment of periarthritis of shoulder curative effect, the treatment group 4 cases were cured,13 cases markedly effective,12 cases effective,1 cases ineffective, the total efficiency of 96%; control group 1 cases cured,9 cases were cure,17 cases were effective,3 cases ineffective, the total efficiency of 90%. The two groups were analyzed by Ridit, p=0.019 < 0.05, description, treatment group and control group for treatment of periarthritis of shoulder rate have obvious effect in statistics.Safety evaluation:patients in the treatment group, there were 1 cases with mild syncope patients, to rest after spontaneous remission; the control group did not appear unwell patients. The two groups were no serious adverse reactions. That two groups treat scapulohumeral periarthritis both safe and reliable.Conclusion:Two methods for the treatment of acupuncture and electroacupuncture has a good therapeutic effect on periarthritis of shoulder. Acupuncture in the treatment of periarthritis of shoulder pain and recovery of shoulder joint activity effectively compared with EA higher.
