ObjectiveAs the incidence of type 2 diabetes and its complications increases d ay by daythe hazards of disease to people’s life are worsening. Early pre vention and treatment of type 2 diabetes get more and more attention. Bec ause of the treatment of type 2 diabetes by TCM is better and toxic and s ide effects is less, more and more researchers agree with TCM. Professor Fan has researched type 2 diabetes and its complications so many years an d he has rich clinical experience of treating diabetes. He generalized "dy namics-immobility-order-succession and eight therapies" which has been pr oved to treat well. The study said that the key symptoms determine the ke y pathogenesis and the key pathogenesis determine the traditional Chines e medicine.When I learned from Professor Fan in section for outpatients, I find that the key symptoms always change with the physical and chemical index. The key symptoms always prompt the curative effect and the prognosis. The pu rpose of this study is to discuss if the key symptoms on the clinical thi nking of "dynamics — immobility-order-succession and eight therapies" and the physical and chemical index about T2DM is international. We hope to f ind some useful information from the data on the clinical. We hope to get the new idea or methods to help the TCM to be canonical. We always hope to get some useful conclusion.MethodsThis study used prospective analysis method of medical research with the application of SPSS 17.0 software for data analysis and processing. W e collect information from type 2 diabetes patients who were in Guangdong Hospital of Chinese Medicine. We asked the patients to fill the<the Key symptoms of "dynamics-immobility-order-succession and eight therapies" extraction >and the physical and chemical index such as:age, fasting blood glucose, postprandial blood glucose, glycosylated hemogolbin, C peptide, blood pressure and so on. I use the Multivariate regression analysis to stataistical ananlysis the correlation between the key symptoms and the p hysical and chemical index about T2DM. The key symptoms always change w ith the physical and chemical index. The key symptoms always prompt the c urative effect and the prognosis. The key symptoms can help us to determin e or forecast the patients’ condition. The symptoms of TCM, especially the key symptoms and the physical and chemical index can help us forecast th e patients’condition We hope to get the new idea or methods to help the T CM to be canonical.
