| Objective:1.Understand the depression incidence of rehabilitative schizophrenic patients. 2. Analyse the difference of rehabilitative schizophrenic patients depression on demographic data, stigma, personality and coping style. 3. Analyse the correlation between depression and stigma, coping style and personality. 4. To explore the influence factors of rehabilitative schizophrenic patients depression.Method: Choose 209 rehabilitative schizophrenic inpatients by convenient sampling method; general information questionnaire was used to collect demographic data; applied Zhang Hongyan’s translation of CDSS to test the patients, understand the incidence of depression symptoms in patients; use the stigma scale compiled by Zeng Qingzhi in patients with mental disease to assess patients perceived status for other demeaning or discriminatory attitudes; applied Carver and White‘s Chinese version of BIS/BAS scale to understand the patient’s personality; use simplified Coping Style Questionnaire to understand the patient’s coping style. Results: 1.In the 209 rehabilitative schizophrenic patients, CDSS points greater than or equal to 6 had 54 people, the incidence of depression was 25.84%.2.The depression and non-depression group of rehabilitative schizophrenic patients had no statistically significant in terms of demographic data(gender, age, occupation, education, course)(P>0.05).They had statistically significant in stigma total scores, the social stigma, ability factor(P<0.001). In the BIS/BAS scale, the depression and non-depression group scores had statistically significant in the behavioral inhibition system(P<0.001). Correlation analysis showed that the variables was significantly related with the experience of depression including: social contact(r=0.32,P<0.01), ability(r=0.36, P<0.01), treatment(r=0.15, P<0.01), stigma score(r=0.37, P<0.01), behavioral inhibition system(r=0.21, P<0.01); the variables was significantly related with the self evaluation including: Social contact(r=0.27, P<0.01), ability(r=0.31, P<0.01), stigma total scores(r=0.31, P<0.01), behavioral inhibition system(r=0.21, P<0.01), negative coping(r=0.14, P<0.05); the variables was significantly related with the depression total scores including: social contact(r=0.33, P<0.01), ability(r=0.37, P<0.01), treatment(r=0.14, P<0.05), stigma scores(r=0.38, P<0.01), behavioral inhibition system(r=0.23, P<0.01), negative coping(r=0.14,P<0.05). 3.Depression as the dependent variable,demographic,stigma,BAS/BIS,coping style as independent variables for multiple linear stepwise regression, stigma scores, inhibition, capacity respectively into the equation, the factors to explain depression total weight of 17.30%.Conclusion:1.Depression bring negative influence to rehabilitative schizophrenic patients life and increase the risk of suicide. 2. Stigma is the predictors of depression patients, reduce the stigma may improve the patient’s depression, which for the improvement of depression in patients with schizophrenia and provides a new train of thought. 3. The relationship between depression and coping style and BIS/BAS whether is causal needs further study. |
