Clinical Outcome Of One-stage Treatment Of Dislocated Knee With Multi-ligament Injuries

Objective :To observe the effectieness of dislocation of the knee joint combined with multiple ligament injuries treated by one stage.Methods :Between March 2012 and December 2013,19 cases of traumatic dislocation of the 43 years old(range,26-60 years).There are 11 men and 9 women,left knee 9 cases,right knee 10 cases.Every patient had single knee dislocation.They came to our hospital within 6h to 2 days after injuries.19 cases with combined ACL and PCL tear in 19 patients,They were verified with arthroscopy.ACL,PCL,MCL jiontinjury 11 cases;ACL,PCL,LCL joint injury 5cases;5 with lateral meniscus injury and 3 with medial meniscus injury;1with MPFL injury. Arthrocopic combined reconstruction of ACL and PCL were performed in 19 patients. Repair of MCL in 11 patients were performed and repair of LCL in 5 patients were performed.There were performed by antologous tendon.Results:All wounds healed by first intention;no complications of infection and compartment syndrome occurred.All cases were followed up 13-24 months with an average of 18 months.After 12 months of the operation,the mean flexion of the knee was(130.0±8.2)°(range 125-140°)and(96.5±6.0)°preoperatively(P<0.05). Lysholm scale of the knee function was 21.4 ± 6.2 preoperatively and 75.6 ± 9.5 postoperatively(P<0.05).According to Lysholm evaluation system,4 patients got excellent results,7 good,and 2 fair,the excellent and good rate was 84.2%.Conclusion:It is an effective method in the treatment of traumatic dislocation of the knee joint combined with multiple ligament injuries by one stage.
