The Clincal Study Of Sun’s Massage Therapy Of Pediatric Tuina On Infantile Anorexia Due To The Qi Deficiency Of Spleen And Stomach

Objective:Anorexia is a common childhood illness, reduced food intake in children with prolonged or not interested in food, over time will affect the healthy development of children, there will be malnourished or stunted. Therefore, this clinical study of Sun’s massage therapy for the treatment of anorexia(qi deficiency spleen and stomach type), and with the oral medicine or do comparison group, the treatment of infantile anorexia seek to achieve a more effective therapy.Methods:According to this study included the exclusion, exclusion criteria, 60 patients choose from Malaysia Jing Si Holistic Wellness Home,randomly divided into treatment group(30cases) and control group(30 cases), the treatment group received Sun’s massage therapy,once a day, five days for each treatment course, continuous treatment for two courses. The control group received an oral medicine group(YIGONGSAN granules). Following by the dosage: age <1 years old. 1.5grams once, 2 times a day. Age 1-2 years old, 1.8 grams once,2 times and a day. Age 2-3 years old, 2.5 grams once, 2 times and a day. Age 3-6 years old,3.75 grams per day. 5 days for each treatment course, continuous treatment for two courses.Evaluation of the main symptoms of disease were done before and after treatment(Main symptoms of pediatric anorexia evaluation form).Results:30 cases treatment of qi deficiency of spleen and stomach type by Sun’s massage therapy on infantile anorexia: 9 cases were cured, 8 cases markedly effective, effective 11 cases,invalid 2 cases, the cure rate was 30%, the total efficiency of 93. 33%.Oral medicine group(YIGONGSAN granules) group: 3 cases recovered, 30 cases markedly effective in 5cases, effective 14 cases, invalid 8 cases, the cure rate was 10%, the total efficiency of73.33%. Clinical comparison of two groups statistically significant difference(P<0.05).ConclusionSun’s Massage Therapy on infantile anorexia( qi deficiency of spleen and stomach type)are effective and reliable, it is cheap and environmental protection, and the effect is obvious. This treatment method is safe and reliable, no adverse reactions, should be widely applied.From the total effective rate and the analysis of the comparison of main symptoms(before and after treatment), “Sun’s Massage therapy” of Pediatric Tuina treated children with anorexia due to qi deficiency of spleen and stomach type is more effective than oral medicine(YIGONGSAN granules) therapy.
