Effects Of TaohongSiwu Decoction On The Bone-transport Postoperative

ObjectiveCompare to Taohong Siwu decoction (TSD) the curative effect of bone transport and pain after the bone transport surgery of Tibia fracture, then, analysis the trial result and provide an early intervention for the treatment of increase the bone density and decrease pain after the bone transport surgery.Methods48 patients (including three cases of loss) who have been done the tibial bone transport surgery, since March 2013 to March 2015 in Zhongshan Hospital. The 48 cases were randomly divided into two groups:the treatment group (22 cases of Chinese medicine group) and the control group (23 cases). The control group received a wound dressing, regular review of X-rays, bone density and other regular treatment;The treatment group received TSD once a day, continuous one month. Before treatment and after the First,7th,14th,28th day observed and recorded the bone density, the degree of pain, the time of removal the external fixator and analyze the results.ResultsThe 7th/14th day in the treatment group and the control group were observed BMD growth was no significant difference, p>0.05 no significant difference statistically; but in the 28th days, the BMD values of the treatment group and the control group was (1.004±0.107) g/cm2 and (0.901±0.146) g/cm2, P=0.0102 (P<0.05), a statistically significant difference. Improve the degree of pain at the early treatment group compared with the control group significantly. The 7th and 14th day between the two groups was statistically significant (p<0.05), while the 28th day, there was no significant difference between the two groups compare (p>0.05). In the bone segments to move complete removal of external fixation time, the average number of days of treatment group (193.14±22.35) days, and the control group (211.52±27.15) days, the two groups compare p=0.0174, (P<0.05), the difference statistically significant.Conclusion:After the treatment of the TSD, the patients bone mineral density were increased significantly. At the same time, promote the quality of the bone mineralization extended.That shorten the overall treatment time and improve the quality of bone and fracture healing directly or indirectly. Moreover, taking the TSD can reduce limb pain and patients suffering, that improve the quality of treatment.
