The Observation Of Curative Effect Of Radiofrequency Thermocoagulation Combined With Ozone In The Treatment Of Far Lateral Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective To observe and discuss the clinical efficacy of radiofrequency thermocoagulation and ozone on far lateral lumbar disc herniation.Methods The retrospective analysis enrolled in 60 far lateral lumbar disc herniation patients admitted to our hospital between 2013 March and 2014 March, the patients were assigned randomly. The study group had undergone ozone combined with radiofrequency thermocoagulation treatment in 30 patients, and the control group with ozone only in another 30 patients. There were no statistically significant between two groups in general information,VAS score of pre-operation and section of the outstanding. The control group simply accepted ozone injection for the treatment,on the base of the treatment of the control group,the study group need to accept the radiofrequency thermalcoagulation therapy.Two groups of patients with excellent rates, VAS score of postoperation, lesions monitor, quality of life, pain and complications were observed after treatment to compare the clinical effect and sanfety of two methods, then be stratified analysis.Results All 60 patients had successful operation without intraoperative and postoperative complications.The technical success rate was 100%,30 patients in the control group after treatment for 1 weeks,1 months,3 months,6 months, the excellent and good rate were 73.3%,76.7%,70%,56.7%, The study group of 30 patients after the treatment of 1 weeks,1 months,3 months,6 months, the excellent and good rate were 76.7%,80.0%,83.3%,86.7%.Conclusion Interventional therapy is the more effective treatment strategy for far lateral lumbar disc herniation. The far lateral lumbar disc herniation patients can choose ozone combined with radiofrequency thermalcoagulation therapy, the method is safe and effective, worthy of clinical application.
