| Objective:To investigate the clinical observation of limbal stem cell transplantation combined with chu feng yi sun tang in pterygium treatment.Methods:Pterygium surgery patients in our hospital during January of 2012 and January of 2014 were divided into the treatment group and the control group randomly.The control group was performed with limbal stem cell transplantation and conventional postoperative treatment was given.The treatment group was treated with the combination of limbal stem cell transplantation and chu feng yi sun tang.Postoperative follow-up period was 12~24m,the wound healing time and postoperative recurrence(at 3m,6m, 12 m,24m) were observed.Results:Compared with the control group,the wound healing time of the treat group is shorter(P <0.05),stability is better(P < 0.05),and recurrence rate is lower(P < 0.05).The difference was statistically significant(P <0.05).Conclusions:Autologous limbal stem cell transplantation combined with chu feng yi sun tang for treatment of pterygium can shorten healing time and reduce the recurrence rate. |
