Objective:Through the comparative research and analyses on the results of color doppler ultrasonic examinations on thyroid tumors and the results of fine needle aspiration biopsy examinations guided by color doppler ultrasound, to discuss the clinical application value of diagnosis of thyroid tumors conducted by fine needle aspiration biopsy guided by color doppler ultrasound.Methods:1 Color doppler ultrasonic examination was firstly conducted on 50 patients who suffered from thyroid tumors, 2-d ultrasonic image features(sizes, locations, shapes, internal echoes, and surrounding tissue relationship of the tumors) and blood-supply situation of those tumors(blood vessel number, blood vessel arranged, and hemodynamic parameters) were recorded, and color doppler ultrasonic examination results were obtained.2 Fine needle aspiration biopsy guided by color doppler ultrasound was conducted on 50 patients who suffered from thyroid tumors, and post-operational pathological results were obtained.3 Thyroid tumorectomy should be conducted on those 50 patients, those incised tissue routines should be sent for pathological examination, and then the results of post-operational sample pathological examinations would be gained.4 Comparisons should be made between the color doppler ultrasonic examination results, the biopsy results of fine needle aspiration guided by color doppler ultrasound and the post-operational pathological examination results.Results:1 Among those 50 patients, 21 were diagnosed to be thyroid rumors with color doppler ultrasonic examinations, 4 were thyroid adenomas, and 25 were nodular goiters.2 17 of those patients were diagnosed to be thyroid rumors with fine needle aspiration biopsy examinations guided by color doppler ultrasound, 31 were thyroid adenomas, and 2 were nodular goiters.3 18 of those patients were proved to suffer thyroid rumors, 30 were thyroid adenomas, and 2 were nodular goiters.4 Compared with those post-operational pathological results, the sensitivity of color doppler ultrasonic examinations and diagnoses on thyroid tumors was 83.3%, specificity was 81.2%, coincidence rate was 77.8%. The sensitivity of fine needle aspiration biopsy examinations guided by color doppler ultrasound was 94.4%, specificity was 100%, coincidence rate was 96.7%.5 The comparisons between the results of color doppler ultrasonic examinations, the results of fine needle aspiration biopsy examinations guided by color doppler ultrasound and the post-operational pathological examination results showed that the results of fine needle aspiration biopsy examinations guided by color doppler ultrasound were more close to the post-operational pathological examination results, whose sensitivity, specificity, and coincidence rate were much bigger than those of color doppler ultrasonic examinations.Conclusions:1 For thyroid tumors, color doppler ultrasonic examination facilitates to the early screening, diagnoses, and differential diagnoses, but its diagnosis coincidence rate is rather low, and it can not make clear the pathological nature.2 Fine needle aspiration biopsy examination guided by color doppler ultrasound can make clear the pathological diagnosis before operation, which may provides valuable diagnosis basis for further treatment, and whose diagnosis coincidence rate is significantly higher than that of color doppler ultrasonic examination.3 Fine needle aspiration biopsy examination guided by color doppler ultrasound is a kind of safe, effective, prompt minimally invasive examination method, and is worth clinically popularizing and applying. |
