| Objective There is serious impact of Obstructive sleep apnea hypopneasyndrome (OSAHS) to cardiovascular includespulmonary circulation and systemiccirculation. This study was to evaluate obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrom(OSAHS) on pulmonary hypertension(PH) and right heart function. Methods There were72patients with OSAHS and23snoring patients fromMarch.2013to September.2014who were determined by polysomnography(PSG)andechocardiographic to evaluate heart structure, hemodynamic parameters measurementand pulmonary hypertension. Results The72patients with OSAHS were detected by echocardiographicshowed that there were28patients(38.89%)with PH(PASP≥40mmHg),in the othergroup, there were4patients(17.39%) with PH in the23snoring patients.72patientswith OSAHS in the incidence of pulmonary hypertension (PH), right heart structureand hemodynamic changes were significantly higher than that of23snoring patients(P<0.05or P <0.01).In the OSAHS patients group, there were28patients withPH(PASP≥40mmHg),the other44patients were not(PASP<40mmHg).The rightcardiac structure changed in PH group was significantly higher than that in non PHgroup(P <0.05or P <0.01).The PH OSAHS patients with PH, right heart structureand hemodynamic changed good correlation with OSAHS severity. Conclusion The incidence of OSAHS patients with PH was higher, patientswith OSAHS combined PH at the same time whose right heart structure changed was obvious. Severity of PH and right heart structure was changed with the severity ofOSAHS. |
