Clinical Study On Metastatic Recurrence Of Postoperative Breast Cancer With Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe

Objective：In clinical,It was found that Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe played a rolein improving the quality of life in postoperative breast cancerr patients;reducing the sideeffects by chemotherapy, radiation therapy and endocrine therapy,even raising theefficacy.For years,it was found to delay recurrence and prolong survival of breastcancer.To define the clinical efficacy of Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe,we analyzed theclinical data within a decade.We wanted to provide reference for development of newdrugs in breast cancer.Methods:We screened110cases of I,II,III postoperative breast cancer registered fromJanuary2004to January2014.There were50cases in control group who acceptedconventional therapy,while the other60cases which belonged to traditional recipe grouptook Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe after1-2cycles of chemotherapy for at least6months, in addition.The recipe would be revised based on dialectical variations of patientsand the different stages of the disease,which requires one day an agent.Data includeddemographics as well as clinical,adverse effects,quality of life, Breast FACT-B4.0, KPSvector table, the blood cells, the tumor markers, the blood rheology, thehormones,radiological and histopathological characteristics.Data was analyzed bySPSS17.0.Results:It was found that patients who accepted Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe had asignificant improve in quality of life,especially for fatigue, anorexia, nausea, vomiting,bloating, belching, numbness, chest tightness, insomnia, abnormal stools, andenuresis,compared with before(P＜0.01);a significant improve in corpuscular(RBC),hemoglobin(HB), leukocyte(WBC)(P＜0.01), PLT(P＜0.05),which reduced obviouslybecause of chemotherapy(P＜0.01);a reduce in CA125,CA153,compared with controlgroup(P＜0.01). The recipe was also be found to regulate significantly the whole bloodviscosity, whole blood reduced viscosity, viscous and capillary forees, erythrocyteaggregation index（P＜0.01）;regulate endocrine,including follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH), estradiol (E2), progesterone (P).After five years,there were8.33%patients who took Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe had been appearedrecurrence and metastasis, while the data of the control group was24%(P=0.026,P＜0.05).And after five years,all patients in recipe test group still survived,while the controlgroup had87%survived(P＜0.05).Conclusion:Shu Gan Bu Shen Jie Du Recipe had been found to improve the quality oflife in postoperative breast cancer patients;reduce the inhibition of chemotherapy on bonemarrow function;lower serum levels of tumor markers CA125,CA153;regulate endocrinelevels;delay postoperative breast cancer recurrence, prolong the survival of patients.
