| Objective To investigate the value and significance as early diagnosis and condition assessment indicators of OA by means of quantitative detection of the changes of C-telopeptide of collagen type â…¡ (CTX-â…¡), matrix metalloproteinase protein-3(MMP-3)ã€tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-1(IL-1).Methods35New Zealand white rabbits (male and female both), divided into five groups, each group of seven, the former four groups for the experimental groups, the fifth group as control groups, experimental groups respectively made the detection of the level of biomarker(BM) in serum after1ã€2ã€3and4weeks, knee MRI examination, joint sample damage degree, tissue pathology observation and modified Markin score. Control group (the fifth group) respectively carrys on the test of the level of serum biomarkers(CTX-â…¡ã€MMP-3ã€TNF-α〠IL-1)in model1,2,3and4weeks later; Knee MRI observation〠histopathological observation, joint samples general observation with the fourth group after4weeks.Results Mean differences of four biological markers level of experimental groups compared with the control group were statistically significant (p <0.05) each time point.1week of postoperation, histopathological variation and knee MRI signal changes were not obvious.2weeks of postoperation, there wre characteristic pathological changes and knee MRI signal changes of OA.3,4weeks after OA characteristic pathological changes and knee MRI signal changes was more obvious. Before the knees appearing no obvious pathology and significant MRI changes, Four kinds of biological markers had already increased. Conclusions Combination detection of CTX-â…¡, MMP-3, TNF-α and IL-1in the serum could be used as reference indicators of early diagnosis and condition assessment of OA. |
