Objective:Selecting the infants who saw doctors and was diagnosed with SLI at pediatrics of the fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University, and discussioning the efficacy of probiotic in adjuvant therapy based on the general treatment for the infants who was selected.Methods:Selecting2016infants who suffered from diarrhea and saw doctors at pediatrics of the fifth Affiliated Hospital of Xinjiang Medical University form Dec.2012to Nov.2013,and collectting their urine after having eaten milk to test the urinary galactose by Urinary Galactose Test Kits which are produced by the Beijing Zhong Sheng Jin Yu Diagnostic Technology Ltd. Company.A randomized, controlled,open-label study was in progress on the347selected infants who were diagnosed with SLI after the test of urinary galactose. The infants were divided into two groups, one group of infants’ treatment was general treatment, and the other group of infants’ treatment was adding probiotic based on the general treatment. Now, based on the retrospective analysis of the347cases of medical records, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,We seleted125from all the cases, and delimited the group of infants who’s treatment was adding probiotic based on the general treatment as observer group, and delimited the other group as control group.Making statistical analysis of the two group infants’ general information, the information about improving and outcominging of the disease, healing time and hospitalization time,Etc.Results:The comparison of general information of observer group and the control group of infants, including the infants’ general condition, the severity of the disease berore the treatment and the accompanying symptoms,is not with statistically significance,P>0.05; The comparison of improvement rate after48hours treatment and cure rate afterf72hours treatment of the two groups has statistically significance P<0.05;The stool frequency of the two groups on the third and fifith treatment day both reduced, but the comparison of the two groups has statistically significance,P<0.05;Camparied the healing time and hospitalization time about the observer group and the control group, the statistically significance was existed,P<0.05; The percentage of the observer group and the control group who’s treatment time≤7days was:82.6%,76.8%,which has no statistically significance.Concusions:The adjuvant therapy for Infants Secondary Lactose Intolerance of probiotic can shorten the time of cure and hospital stay, and speeden the improvement of clinical symptoms. In short, the efficacy of probiotic in adjuvant therapy based on the general treatment for the infants with SLI is significant.
