Objective:To evaluate the feasibility application of low-does contrast agent in dual energy CT pulmonary angiography(CTPA). Methods:40patients, who were suspected pulmonary embolism clinically, were divided into two groups randomly. In dual energy, conventional-does(Ultravist300mgI/ml,80ml) low-does(Ultravist300mgI/ml,40ml).140Kv and80Kv energy imaging was obtained after scan. Imaging quality of different does contrast agents dosage and different energy scan was evaluated by two experienced doctors. Kappa index was used to analysis the consistence of grade. Compare the difference of same vessel signal noise ratio (SNR) in two different contrast agents dosage and two different energy scanning. ResultsrThe Kappa value of diagnose acceptance ratio in group are0.77and0.81. The value of diagnose acceptance ratio are4.43±0.23and4.32±0.23. Compare the SNR of18groups vessels after two different energy scanning. There is statistically significant differences exist in7groups vessels(P<0.05). The other11groups have no different in statistics(P>0.05).Conclusions:low-does contrast medium could be used in dual energy CTPA as usual contrast medium.
