| Background:Lumbar osteoarthritis is a common degenerative disease, Its pathogenesis mainly lies in the body’s natural degeneration changes of lumbar vertebras mechanical load, and obesity, trauma, deformity, inflammation and other factors can accelerate the degeneration of lumbar joints. MRI has a predominance in the diagnosis of joint injuries, ligament injuries and joint effusions lesions, the changes of lumbar osteoarthritis on radiography can be observed from the datas of MRI. So, the purpose of the research is further to offer a method for the diagnosis of lumbar osteoarthritis with acute syndromes. Objective:The purpose of this study is to observe the magnetic resonance image signal changes when lumbar osteoarthritis pain attacks the body acutely and then further assess the value of the high signal areas of facets or its surrounding tissues in diagnosis of lumbar osteoarthritis patients with acute low back pain and analyse the correlation between osteoarthritis severity levels on radiography and intervertebral disc signal changes, individual age and the corresponding lumbar segment at the same time. Methods:Collecting the magnetic resonance image pictures of50cases of lumbar osteoarthritis patients with acute low back pain and20cases of normal physical examination, we can observe the photos and have a comprehensive analysis of the signal conditions of lumbar facet joints and its surrounding tissues areas. Then according to Nathan standard, the lumbar osteoarthritis would be divided into four grades0,â… ,â…¡,â…¢, by use of Tertti classification method, disc degeneration would be divided into three gradesO,I,II, according to the age, three grades would be divided, corresponding lumbar segments would be recorded. All data information was analyzed by SPSS17.0statistics software bag for it’s correlation and relationship.Results:1. We could see high signal areas around small joints or surrounding tissues was significant for clinical diagnosis in the acute lumbar osteoarthritis pain(P<0.05), the sex ratio and the location difference of high signal change areas weren’t statistically significant(P>0.05).2. The degree of lumbar intervertebral disc degenerative changes and lumbar osteoarthritis grade level for correlation test Tip:The classification of lumbar osteoarthritis in radiography severity and grade of intervertebral disc degeneration was positively correlated (P<0.05).3. Different age levels and the degree of lumbar osteoarthritis imaging grading level for correlation test Tip:The classification of lumbar osteoarthritis in radiography severity was positively correlated with age (P<0.05).4. Different lumbar vertebrae and the degree of lumbar osteoarthritis imaging grading level osteoarthritis test for multiple sets of rank data Tip:There is no significant link between lumbar osteoarthritis radiographic severity with the vertebral body (P>0.05).Conclusion:1. The magnetic resonance image high signal changes of lumbar facet joints or its surrounding tissues have a connection with acute low back pain among the patients with lumbar osteoarthritis.2. The classification of lumbar osteoarthritis severity in radiography has a positive correlation with lumbar disc degeneration severity. As the severity degree of disc degeneration is aggravating, osteoarthritis radiographic classification of the corresponding level has also increased.3. Lumbar osteoarthritis radiographic severity is positively related with age. When the age increases, the degree of osteoarthritis radiographic change gradually increases.4. There is not an obvious correlation between lumbar osteoarthritis radiographic severity and the location of corresponding vertebral body. The relationship between the different vertebraes and the severity degree of corresponding vertebral hyperplasia doesn’t close. |
