Nitric oxide is a messenger molecules which have wide range ofbiological effects, and which generated by nitric oxide synthase incatalysis, and that play an important role in cardiovascular disease。Nitricoxide has played an important role in cardiovascular disease. Currentlynitric oxide synthase have three types: type I called a cerebral or nervoustype, mainly distributed in the brain cells and nerve cells; Type II calledinducible, mainly in macrophages and inflammation around the area ofepithelial cells, after induction of expression in stimulated; type III calledendothelial, mainly in the endothelial cell membrane. Inducible nitricoxide synthase express in the ischemic cardiac stress situations whichproduce large amounts of nitric oxide to paly a role on the immunesystem and cardiovascular system. After myocardial infarction, immunesystem of macrophage and cardiovascular system of fibroblasts, endothelial cells which are involved in the formation of myocardial scar.Hereby abroad on about inducible nitric oxide synthase and the threetypes of cell research were reviewed,in order to further clarify the inducible nitric oxide synthase in the role in the process of myocardialinfarction, to further explore the inducible nitric oxide synthase inhibitorsreduce the expression of iNOS and reduce NO for the toxic effects on theheart in the clinical application.
