| Stroke Ischemic stroke has a high mortality and recurrent rate, andit is also the most common cerebrovascular disease. Among the patientswho survived from the first acute ischemic stroke, nearly5%to20%maysuffer another stroke every year. The stroke recurrent not only makestreatment difficult, but also leads to an increase in disability rate, mortalityrate, and medical costs. Consequently, identify patients who are at the highrisk of recurrent stroke is far-reaching. Although the relative risks ofischemic stroke are not entirely clear, there are already many researchesshowed that there maybe some correlation with age, gender, smoking, hypertension between the ischemic stroke recurrence. The present paperhas reviewed the related factors and recurrent stroke, introduced thepredictive value of these factors on screening people at high risk ofrecurrent stroke. |
