| Objective:(1) To investigate whether schizophrenia have a impaired inhibition function;(2) To investigate the psychological mechanism of schizophrenia who have auditory hallucinationsMethods:This study investigated inhibition in schizophrenia by recording event-related brain potentials (ERPs) during a Go/NoGo task.21schizophrenia patients have experienced auditory hallucinations,20schizophrenia patients have never experienced auditory hallucinations and27healthy controls participated, simultaneous recording of behavioral data and ERP data, comparing behavioral date difference and EEG data difference between the three groups.Results:(1)Behavioral results:Schizophrenia have longer reaction time and lower accurace rate than healthy controls(P<0.05);(2)ERP results:healthy controls have a larger NoGo-P3amplitude than Go-P3amplitude(P<0.001), but schizophrenia don’t have this phenomenon. schizophrenia which have experienced auditory hallucinations have a smaller NoGo-P3than healthy controls(P<0.05).Conclusions:(1)Information Processing impaired in schizophrenia.(2) Schizophrenia have a impaired inhibition to target without interference factors.(3) Schizophrenia patients who have experienced auditory hallucinations have a impaired inhibition to target within interference factors.(4) This study supports the hypothesis that deficits in inhibition help auditory hallucination arising in schizophrenia. |
