| Objective:To assess the relationship between serum brain natriuretic peptide, left ventricular ejection fraction, left atria diameter, mitral diastolic E/A Ratio, left ventricular mass index and plasma homocysteine in elderly heart-failure patients with preserved left ventricular ejection fraction. Methods:The HF-PEF group has63cases,49cases for healthy control group. On two groups of people were asking history comprehensive, collection of BMI, Hcy, LVEF, E/A, LAD, LVMI data. We use the Spearman correlation way for analysis the relationship between Hcy and BNP, LVEF, LAD, LVMI and E/A ratio. Results:In group HF-PEF, the level of Hcy, BNP, LAD,LVMI and E/A is higher than that in the normal group, LVEF value is lower than the normal group. The difference was statistically significant. In group HF-PEF, Hcy and LAD, E/A ratio, LVMI, BNP was positively correlated with each other. There was a negative correlation between Hcy and EF%, the difference was statistically significant.(P<0.05) Conclusion:Elderly patients with HF-PEF Hcy, BNP, LAD, E/A, LVMI are higher than that of the healthy people, while the LVEF value was lower than that of healthy people. Elderly patients with HF-PEF, Hcy and LAD, E/A ratio, LVMI, BNP was positively correlated with. There was a negative correlation between Hcy and EF%. |
