Clininal Study Of Acupuncture Effect On Acute Ischemic Stroke Patients’ Free Radical

Objective:The research object is acute ischemic stroke patients in this study, Observation the acupuncture effect on limb when receiving conventional therapy in the clinical. Observing the acupuncture effect on limb patients, intervention, and take the NIHSS(neurological deficit score), acute ischemic stroke syndrome scale, curative effect evaluation and peripheral blood free radical level [plasma homocysteine (Hey), superoxide dismutase (SOD)], clinical neural function defect and acute ischemic stroke syndrome of TCM. Comparative analysis of clinical effect between the routine treatment plus acupuncture intervention and simple clinical routine treatment, mechanisms the action the effect of acupuncture in the treatment of acute ischemic stroke, and provide scientific basis for clinical acupuncture treatment of acute cerebral ischemic stroke.Methods:The60patients were come from the neural Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine who were diagnosed with acute ischemic cerebral apoplexy, Using the simple random method, who were divided into conventional treatment group and acupuncture treatment group,30patients in each group. The conventional therapy refer to the2010edition treatment guidelines of diagnosis and treatment of acute ischemic stroke in China, and this therapeutic regimen sustained for3weeks. The therapies of acupuncture treatment group select "activiting brain and regaining consciousness" of Shi, Xuemin. The the main point:Neiguan*2, Renzhong, the affected side Sanyinjiao. Matching acupoint:Jiquan, Chize, Weizhong. Needling for30minutes1times a day. Take1day rest every6treatment day. Treatment for3weeks. Measure the Hcy, SOD in every point-in-time of the two groups in the course of treatment.to reflect the changes of free radical levels in plasma of patients before and after the treatment. Using SPSS15analysis software to Statistical analysis.Results:(1) Before and after treatment, the clinical nerve deficiency scale were significantly improved, no significant difference between the acupuncture treatment group and routine treatment group in statistics.(2)Patients’clinical symptoms who with acute ischemic stroke were improved after treatment, acupuncture treatment group is better than the conventional treatment group;(3) after acupuncture treatment the SOD level goes up in patients with acute ischemic stroke, acupuncture treatment group is bet’ter than the conventional treatment group; Hcy level reduced, acupuncture treatment group was better than routine treatment group.Conclusion:Acupuncture combined with conventional treatment improve the plasma level of free radicals in acute ischemic stroke patients is superior to only conventional therapy, and bring the acute cerebral ischemic stroke patients a better prognosis.
