Objective:To assess the working situation and the condition of working stress among clinical doctors in Hunan province, also analyzed the related impact factors.Methods:The job content questionnaire (JCQ) and the effort-reward imbalance questionnaire (ERI) were distributed to assess the condition of working stress among clinical doctors by random sampling, who once attended Clinical medicine specialty academic conferences sponsored by Hunan province medical association between November.2013to March.2014. Frequency distribution, constituent ratio, x±s were used to describe the condition of working stress among clinical doctors, analyzing the difference of working stress among clinical doctors with different individual characteristics by t-est, ANOVA, Kruskal-Wallis H test. The impact factors of clinical doctors’working stress were studied based on unconditional logistic regression.Results:1.443effective questionnaires were collected among510questionnaires, slightly more than half of the sample was males (229,51.7%).followed by females (214,48.3%); Age is given priority to with31~40years old, educational degree was mainly bachelor degree (197,44.5%), Marriage is given priority to with married(372,84.0%), Hospital grade is given priority to with tertiary hospitals (320,72.2%), the number of Physicians (172,38.8%), other departments (72,16.3%), surgery(62,14.0%) were the top three; the job title was mainly resident doctors, working years was mainly≤10years(197,44.5%); more than half of clinic doctors’working hours was between41to60hours(210,56.6%). 2. The pravelance rate of psychology issues was16.25, the chronic diseases rate was29.12%among clinical doctors.3. The average JCQ index of clinical doctors was1.15±0.24,74.7%(331/443) clinical doctors was be with high working stress, the average ERI index of clinical doctors was1.23±0.31,81.3%(360/443) clinical doctors was be with high working stress.4. The unconditional logistic regression analysis indicated that the related impact factors of clinical doctors’working stress included hospital class, income, hospital class, department, job title, working years, working time per week, working place, night shift.Conclusion1. The clinical doctors’health was worse than the population.2. The average level of clinical doctors’s working stress was over1, and most of clinical doctors were with high working stress in Hunan province.3. The female, income per monthe was≤3000RMB, attending physician, working time was>60hours, stuffering from an illness, more night shift were suffered from high working stress.
