| ObjectiveIn order to provide evidence for the gingival parameters of maxillary anteriortooth in Henan youth,we measured the related morphology parameters of the freegingival and the interdental papilla of maxillary anterior dentition in Henanadolescents,to analysis the correlation between tooth shape and the gingivalaesthetics parameters,the distinction of different tooth with the same tooth shape andthe regulation of gingival morphological parameters.Methods:115dental models of Henan youth with normal occlusion were collected withrefined alginate impression material,then,the gingival angle(GA),height of interdental papilla(PH),gingival zenith level (GZL) and the distance between gingivalzenith position (GZP) and vertical bisected mibline(VBM) were measured by DigitalCalipers(accuracy of0.01mm).The samples were divided into three groups includingsquare shape(41),ovoid shape(41) and tapered shape(33) according to the tooth shapeof maxillary central incisor.The data was analyzed by SPSS18.0software.Results:1.The gingival parameters of PH,GA,GZL and the distance between GZP andVBM of maxillary anterior tooth segment in Henan youth are obtained.2.The GZL of lateral tooth: GZL of male is greater than the female.The GZP inthe distance of VBM of lateral incisor:GZP in the distance of VBM of male is greaterthan female.3.The GA of square shape is greater than ovoid shape and tapered shape inmaxillary anterior tooth segment;The PH of tapered shape is the greatest in the threetooth shape, he PH of ovoid shape is greater than square shape; The GZP of central central incisor,lateral incisor are in the distance of VBM,The GZP of the canine iscentralized along the VBM of the canine.4.The GA of canine is greater than central incisor and lateral incisor, theminimum of GA is the lateral incisor;The PH of CI-CI is greater than CI-LI,The PHof CI-LI is greater than LI-CA.5.Linear relation is found between GA and PH in square,ovoid and taperedshapes.Conclusion:1.The shapes of central incisors is closely related to GA and PH,but has littlerelation to GZL and GZP of maxillary anterior dentition in Henan adolescents.Thegender has a significant impact on GZP and GZL,but has little influence on GA andPH.2.In the same tooth shape,The GA,PH,GZP has a significant differences in thedifferent tooth(central incisor,lateral incisor and canine) of the maxillary anteriordentition in Henan youth;The GA is related to PH Negatively. |
