Objective:To investigate the expression of tyrosine kinase receptor B (TrkB) and phosphase and tension homologue deleted on chromosome ten (PTEN) in auricular keloid and their roles in pathogenesis.Materials And Methods:The immunohistochemistry was used to detect the expressive levels of TrkB and PTEN in auricular keloid tissue from30patients and auricular normal skin tissue from20patient without auricular keloid, then the expressive correlation of TrkB and PTEN was analyzed in auricular keloid tissue. Results:Compared with auricular normal skin tissue, the expression of TrkB in auricular keloid tissue was up-regulated (t=-4.301, P<0.05), while the expression of PTEN was down-regulated(t=6.045, P<0.05), the expression of TrkB and PTEN was significantly negative correlation (r=-0.897, P<0.05).Conclusions:The up-regulated expression of TrkB and the down-regulated expression of PTEN may promote the pathological process of fibrosis in auricular keloid.
