Clinical Efficacy Research Of Bringing Down Infantile Exogenous Fever Which Treat By Medicated Bath

Objective:①To identify the curative effect of bringing down infantile exogenousfeverby Traditional Chinese Medicine bath.②To identify the difference of curativeeffect between Traditional Chinese Medicine bath and foot bath for bringing downinfantile exogenous fever.Methods: Training investigators make them grasp the diagnostic criteria, inclusioncriteria and exclusion criteria. Collect72cases accorded with the standard set ofinfantile exogenous fever.All of the patients were randomly divided on the basis of thebath timing into control group, the group treat by whole body bath and group treat byfoot bath. The control group given basic treatment (Chai Gui antifebrile grain andCompound Paracetamol and Methlephedrine Oral Solution take orally), the group treatby whole body bath was given basic treatment and TCM full bath treatment, grouptreat by foot bath was given basic treatment and TCM foot bath treatment, treatmentfor two days. Records temperature changes of every group within48hours. Evaluateantifebrile effect of every group. To compare curative effect time between the threegroups, syndrome integral every day, antipyretic time, the highest temperature of everyday, decreasing amplitude of the highest temperature, area under the temperature curve,antifebrile efficient and times of combination of using antipyretic medicine.Results:①Antifebrile efficient of the group treat by whole body bath was obviouslyhigher than that of control group（P＜0.05）.②There was no significant differencebetween three groups include curative effect time and syndrome integral before andafter the treatment (P>0.05).③Group treat by foot bath is shorter than the controlgroup (P <0.05).④After the first day’s treatment, there was no difference of thehighest temperature between these three groups (P>0.05), but there was difference inthe second day that control group is highest, Group treat by foot bath was lower andthe group treat by whole body bath set the lowest (P <0.05).⑤The decreasing amplitude of the highest temperature was no difference between the three groups afterthe first day, but decreasing amplitude of the group treat by whole body bath was lowerthan the other two groups (P <0.05).⑥Area under the temperature curve of the grouptreat by whole body was less than the other two groups after the first day (P <0.05),and there was no significant difference in the second day between these three groups (P>0.05).⑦The times of taking antifebrile of the group treat by whole body in48hours was less than the other two groups （P＜0.05).Conclusion:①there was definite effect of TCM whole body bath and foot bath forbringing down infantile exogenous fever.②TCM whole body bath and foot bath couldshorten the antipyretic time.③TCM whole body bath combined with routine therapycould improve the efficient of bringing down fever, reduce the hot peak, decrease areaunder the temperature curve, reduce The times of taking antifebrile.④TraditionalChinese medicine bath can’t shorten the time of bringing down the fever, and there wasno effect of syndrome integral except fever integral.
