ObjectiveThis study was to observe the effect of tuina sacrococcygeal in patients of insomnia, to explore this method of physiological mechanisms and the TCM pathogenesis from tendons theory, to expand the field of tuina therapy for insomnia.Method60cases of insomnia symptoms in hospitalized patients who meet the dignostic criteria, randomly divided into two groups, both had30cases. The test group was given sacrococcygeal tuina method, and the control group took estazolam. Observe the change of two groups at the PSQI scores and TCM symptom assessing scores before and after the treatment.ResultBy statistical analysis, the total effectiveness of the test group is86.7%, and the control group is80.0%, The total effect of the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). Though the efficacy of two method on treating insomnia was close, the test group is superior to the control group (P<0.05)on improving PSQI scores; on the other hand, the treatment group is obviously better than the other (P<0.01)on improving the TCM symptoms.ConclusionTuina sacrococcygeal therapy and medicine therapy had a good effect on insomnia patients. The Tuina therapy was superior to the estazolam on improving the clinical symptoms. Because of advantages and characteristics of simple manipulations, good therapeutic effect and easily to be accepted, it is deserved to expand clinical applications. |
