| Objective:Investigation on quality of sleep in patients with type2diabetes, analysis and evaluate the relationship between sleep quality and glucose level as well as diabetic complications in patients with type2diabetes mellitus. Methods:A random sample of200cases of hospitalized patients with type2diabetes,included187patients. Each patient completed PSQI questionnaire. All patients were evaluated by SF-36for life quality. Surveys of all the subjects were about life style and medical history.Laboratory tests included lipid profile, liver function, renal function, hemoglobinAlc (HbAlc), high-sensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP), and blood glucose islet0cell function under their fasting condition,C-peptide. BMI, Homeostasis model assessment of insulin resistance index and other related index were also calculated. According to PSQI score>5which was defined as the sleep order. The clinical characteristics of two groups were compared and analyzed. Logistic regression was performed to analyze the correction between PSQI score and glycemia control (FPG, PPG, HbAlc).Result:1.65%patients with T2DM have sleep2.The following parameters differed between the two groups:sex, systolic blood pressure, proportion of patients treated with insulin, FPG,HbAlc,hs-CRP,HOMA-IR,score of life quality, and ratio of diabetic complications. All the above differences in parameters were statistically significant (all p values<0.05).3.By multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that sleep quality was correlated with glycemic control and occurrence of diabetic complications (all p values<0.05).4.Patients with a higher score of PSQI were higher likely to HbAlc, FPG and ratio of diabetic complications (all p values<0.05). Conclusion:l.The sleep quality problem is common in T2DM patients (65%) in hospital(influenced by environment duration ect).2.Occurrence,poor sleep quality will easily cause complications in patients with T2DM(this study shows for the prediction factors).3.Closely related to the quality of life and sleep quality in many factors. |
