Control group:The human normal brain tissue came from operation oftraumatic brain injury, hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage in ourdepartment form May2013to December2013.Results:1.The immunohistochemical SP staining showed that LASP-1protein expressbetween astrocytoma tissue and human normal tissue.50cases of brainastrocytoma specimens and10cases of normal brain tissue of the averagepositive rate were0.6052±0.2046and0.2285±0.0493respectively.Theresults showed that there were high expresses of LASP-1protein (positiverate from tumor group to that from Control group) in astrocytoma group,and the difference was statistically significant (t=11.459, p<0.01).25cases of high-grade malignant astrocytoma (WHOâ…¢-â…£) and25cases oflow-grade malignant astrocytoma (WHOâ… -â…¡) specimens of the averagepositive rate were0.7838±0.1307and0.4266±0.0437respectively.Theresults showed that there were high expresses of LASP-1protein (positiverate from high-grade malignant astrocytoma group to that from low-grademalignant astrocytoma group) in high-grade malignant astrocytomagroup,and there was statistically significant among the groups(t=12.953,p<0.01).2.The result of western blotting showed that LASP-1protein expressbetween astrocytoma tissue and human normal tissue.40cases of brainastrocytoma specimens and10cases of normal brain tissue of the averagegray ratio of lasp1/β-actin were0.6787±0.1085and0.3781±0.0509respectively.The results showed that there were high expresses of LASP-1protein (positive rate from tumor group to that from Control group) inastrocytoma group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=12.775,P<0.01).20cases of high-grade malignant astrocytoma(WHOâ…¢-â…£) and20cases oflow-grade malignant astrocytoma (WHOâ… -â…¡) specimens of the average gray ratio of lasp1/β-actin were0.7765±0.0415and0.5808±0.0475respectively.The results showed that there were high expresses of LASP-1protein (positive rate from high-grade malignant astrocytoma group tothat from low-grade malignant astrocytoma group) in high-grade malignantastrocytoma group,and there was statistically significant among thegroups (t=13.896,P<0.01).Conclusion:1.LASP-1protein was expressed in human brain astrocytoma and brainnormal tissue.and it was highly expressed in human brain astrocytoma.2.The expression of LASP-1protein increased with the increased ofpathology grade of astrocytoma.3.The expression of LASP-1protein may act as marker in evaluatingmalignancy of astrocytoma patients.and it may be a new target forastrocytoma therapy. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Astrocytoma, LASP-1protein, Western BlottingImmunohistochemical SP method | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
