Objective:Through researching miR155and miR146-a expression in orbital adipose tissue of TAO patients, to offer the foundation for the further study the influences and clinical significances of miR155and miR146-a in pathophysiology of TAO.Methods:The experimental group orbital adipose tissue was obtained from seven eyes with TAO during the orbital decompression surgery. Orbital adipose tissue of the normal group was obtained from eight removed eyes during the ocular prosthesis embedding surgery and Ⅱ period ocular prosthesis embedding due to different reasons. The expression of miR-155and miR-146a in orbital adipose tissue of the experimental group and the control group were analyzed by quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and by maldehyde degeneration agarose gel electrophoresis. The statistical were analyzed with SPSS13.0.Results:1.miR-155expressing was up regulated in orbital adipose tissue of TAO group; miR-155is2.53times of the normal control group. The difference was statistically significant (P=0.000<0.01).2. Compared with normal control group, miR-146a expressing was down regulated in orbital adipose tissue of TAO group; miR-146a is0.21times of the normal control group. The difference was statistically significant (P=0.000<0.01).Conclusions:This study shows that the expression of miR-155and miR-146a exist significant differences in TAO patients’and healthy people’s orbit fat tissue. The results hint miR-155and miR-146a might were associated with the pathogenesis of TAO.
