Objective To investigate the mRNA expression of Ral A and RhoC in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and their clinical significance. Methods The quantities of RhoC and RalA were detected by TaqMan probe based fluorescence quantitative polymerase chain reaction(FQ-PCR) in60cases of lung carcinoma, corresponding para-cancer tissues. Results In lung carcinoma, the mean quanitities of RhoC mRNA were higher than that in corresponding para-cancer tissues(2’△△ctwas:1.237±0.852;0.883±0.382respectively P=0.040),and was closely related with lymph node metastases;TNM stage and histological grade. The mean quanitities of RalA mRNA were higher in corresponding para-cancer tissues((2-△△Ct was:0.681±0.245;1.083±0.94respectively P=0.039),and no significant association was found bettwen RalA and lymph node metastases (P>0.05).In NSCLC,both RalA and RhoC mRNA had no difference between squamous cell carcinoma and adenocarcinoma.(P>0.05)Conclusion Preserved expressin of Rho C and defective expressin of RalA can be concerned with NSCLC.
