| Objective:To discuss the roles of psychological and other related risk factors in theonset of IBS through comparing the scores of anxiety and depression between IBS patientsand healthy subjects,between male and female IBS patients,between in four subtypes andanalyzing the relation in serverity and anxiety,depression;and comparing the rate of sufferingnegative life events and abnormal gastrointestinal events between the IBS patients andhealthy subjects,and investigate the role of psychological and other related risk factors in thepathogenesis of IBS.Methods:using the questionnaire(IBS symptoms questionnaire,SAS,SDS) to count131cases of IBS patients and102healthy subjects suffered negative life events and abnormalgastrointestinal events and the rate of negative life events and abnormal gastrointestinalevents,as well as statistical the scores of anxiety and depression,then make correlationanalysis.Results:The scores of anxiety and depression were significantly higher in IBS patientsthan those in healthy subjects(54.60±9.87VS44.16±4.03;54.93±10.33VS44.54±3.84;P<0.05);The rate of suffering negative life events was significantly higher in IBS patientsthan that in healthy subjects(P<0.05)and the scores of anxiety and depression weresignificantly higher in IBS patients who suffered negative life events than others who didn’tsuffer nagative life events(58.87±10.41VS52.21±8.74;59.15±11.20VS52.57±9.045;P<0.05);The scores of anxiey and depression were no difference between femal IBS patients and male IBS patients(P>0.05);The more sever patients felt,the more scores of anxiety anddepression anxiety(P<0.05);The scores of anxiety and depression in the for subtypesshowed no significant difference between in the for subtypes(P>0.05);The rate of sufferingabnormal gastrointestinal events was significantly higher in IBS patients than that in thehealthy subject(sP<0.05);Extragastrointestinal symptoms such as Sleep problems,memoryimpairment,weight loss,tightness in the chest,musculoskeletal complaints,urinarysymptoms,constant fatigue observed in patients with IBS and sleep problems,musculoskeletalcomplaints,constant fatigue were the most common in patients with IBS.Conclusion:Anxity and depression happen more frenquently in IBS patients than that inhealthy subjects,and correlate to the severity of IBS symptom.The rate of suffering negativelife events and abnormal gastrointestinal events were higher in IBS patients than in healthysubjects.IBS division of the subtypes of anxiety/depression no significant correlation.sleepproblems,musculoskeletal complaints,constant fatigue were the most common in patientswith IBS. |
