Objective The study would to investigate the endovascular stent and drug therapy on theprevent recurrence of transient ischemic attack and cerebral infarction caused by cerebralartery stenosis. Methods Collected60patients with TIA or cerebral infarction caused by cerebral arterystenosis on the first time, divided into medical group and stent-assisted angioplasty groupunder the economic status and voluntary priciple, Observed in the6to12months, therecurrence rate of TIA and cerebral infarction, noted the score of the National Institutes ofHealth Stroke Scale (NIHSS) and the activities of daily living Scale (ADL), the results wereanalyzed. Results Two groups on prevention the recurrence of cerebral infarction was statisticallysignificant (P <0.05); Two groups on prevention the recurrence of TIA was no significant (P>0.05); NIHSS and ADL scores were lower in two groups (P <0.05), statistically significant, but the stent group significantly decreased (P <0.05), statistically significant.Concluion stent-assisted angioplasty group might be better than medical group in preventi-on the recurrence of cerebral infarction; endovascular stent therapy, no significant differencein the prevention of TIA recurrence compared with simple drug treatment; The two groups oftreatment in6to12months can improve the prognosis of patients, stent-assisted angioplastygroup improved more significantly. |
