Zizyphus jujube Mill.cv.Lingwuchangzao is a characteristic species of Ningxia conomic forest, adaptability is strong, with good economic, social and ecological benefits. Soil management is an important content of jujube cultivation management. To explore the effect of applying straw and wheat husk in the jujube orchard and understanding soil management status in long jujube planting base, hoping to provide reference for jujube soil management. Taking Lingwu long jujube as test materials, setting rotary tillage wheat husk (TR1), burying straw (TR2), burying corn stover (TR3) and conventional control treatment (CK) which is a total of four treatments, researching the effect of each treatment on jujube growth, fruit quality and jujube orchard soil properties, and investigating soil, fertilizer and water management of the planting base. The main results are as follows:1. Burying corn stover (TR2) has the best effects on soil pH value, potassium, total nitrogen, total phosphorus; burying straw (TR3) has the best effects on soil organic matter, alkali solution nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus.2. Burying corn stover (TR2) has the best effects on jujube suspended growth, leaf area, leaf thickness, leaf fresh weight, leaf dry weight, leaf organic C content and enhance; burying straw (TR3), rotary tillage wheat husk (TR1) is only best effect on jujube leaf area, chlorophyll content.3. Burying corn stover (TR2) has the best effects on promoting jujube hearvest of single tree, fruit weight, transverse diameterl, longitudinal diameter, ratio of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter, sugar content, organic acid content and sugar-acid ratio; buried straw (TR3) has the best promoting effects on fruit yield, longitudinal diameter, ratio of longitudinal diameter and transverse diameter; however,rotary tillage wheat husk (TR1) only have the best role for fruit vitamin C content to improve.4. At persent soil management is mostly clean tillage; fertilization time is too concentrated, base fertilizer in autumn is too single, most farmers ignore autumn fertilizer, potash is also ignored, the fertilizer types and the amount of fertilization in different period is greatly in difference, most growers fertilize blindly by experience, lacking of Standardization and unification, there is much less scientific fertilization phenomenon where the amount is too lagre but the times too little; mostly growers ignore winter water irrigation, irrigation times more or less, irrigation by experience and irrigation methods most of the flood irrigation.In summary, each treatment compared with the control in soil properties, jujube tree growth and fruit yield and quality were improved, and effects of different treatments on the different indicators are different. TR2 (burying corn stover) was the best role in promoting soil properties of jujube orchard and jujube growth and jujube fruit yield and quality; comprehensive ranking:burying corn stover(TR2)>burying straw(TR3)>rotary tillage wheat husk(TR1)>conventional control treatment(CK); fertilizer and water management exist many problems. It is suggested that promoting the use of burying corn stover soil management, and standardized and efficient management of water and fertilizer at the same time, using fertilization, irrigation according to the physiological period of jujube, using drip irrigation, the coupling of water and fertilizer, Formula Fertilization by soil testing and other advanced technology.
