Although China is one of the biggest country grow sugarcane, the ratio of mechanization operation is low, develop mechanization operation is the key point that agricultural mechanization searchers, farmers and mechanical companies care.In the process of sugarcane harvest, cutting parameters, cutting efficiency, reliability, and the wear resistance of the blade is the important index of sugarcane harvester, it directly influence harvest efficiency, energy consumption, the service life of the key wearing parts and cutting quality, these indexes are the important topic of sugarcane harvester needs to be further study, however, the research in this field is not sufficient now, especially integrated research and evaluation about cutting system are rare reported, the factors of system associated with each other and influence each other, factors need to be studied systematically, therefore, conducted comprehensive research and evaluation of cutting system, trying to find out the key factors which influence cutting efficiency, power consumption, sugarcane cutting effect, the blade service life, provide references for optimizing cutting system and improving blade service life and cutting quality.To simulating and research the influences of cutting speed, sliding cutting angle, whittling angle and beveling angle to energy consumption, design cutting blade test platform which can cut with high speed and adjust sliding cutting angle, whittling angle and beveling angle with no step. Analyzed the influences of the five factors including sugarcane diameter for the maximum cutting force, cutting impulse and cutting quality in five factors, four levels orthogonal test method.Analysis shows that the influence order of five factors on the maximum cutting force from large to small is sliding cutting angle, sugarcane diameter, whittling angle, beveling angle, cutting speed; The influence order of five factors on the cutting impulse is cutting speed, sugarcane diameter, beveling angle, sliding cutting angle, whittling angle.As the perennial plant, sugarcane cutting section quality determines the bud ratio and yield of next year, In order to guarantee the cutting quality, minimize the maximum cutting force and cutting impulse at the same time, it needs to cut stick the sugarcane root and select the factor combination:sliding cutting angle 8°, whittling angle 10°, beveling angle 8° and cutting speed 10 m/s under the condition of this experiment. The analysis results can provide references for sugarcane harvester cutting device design and the establishment of harvesting process.Cutting speed an cutting angle is not only relate to the cutting mechanism, wear of cutter also change the cutting speed, sugarcane diameter, beveling angle, sliding cutting angle and whittling angle. Improve the wear resistance of cutter can slow down the change rate of cutting speed and cutting angle, decrease energy consumption and cutting impact force.In order to test the blade performance of different materials and production processes, preparate five kinds of blade, it includes boronizing blade, HVOF with WC, permeate (carbon) tungsten blade, wear-resistant alloy laser cladding blade and quenching blade, etc. First of all, test the wear-resistance of wear-resisting layer of the blades on the wet sand rubber wheel wear tester, on this basis, in order to further investigate the adaptability of this several kinds of blade in the sugarcane field gravel soil, According to the orthogonal test and cutting performance requirement, designs a trapezoid blade which obtuse angle is 98°, blade angle is 18° for field test, carried on the comprehensive evaluation combined with the machine test and laboratory test results. It concluded that boronizing and cutter were both to improve the wear resistance and meet the requirements of cutting blade deformation; Laboratory test and field test show that the boronizing and infiltration of tungsten carbide blades have good wear-resisting performance and adaptability to field experiment, the overall strength and toughness of 65Mn boronizing cutting blade was better when the root matrix hardness was HRC46. At the last, studied and discussed the blade self-sharpening function by the wet sand erosion abrasion tester.The results could provide the reference for sugarcane harvester cutting device design and adjustment, harvest technology formulation and blade wear-resistance and reinforcement, etc.
