China is facing serious water and soil erosion problems, according to the National Remote Sensing Center statistics. By 2014, the soil erosion area is close to 1/3 of the total area. As a soil restoring ecosystem, Phytoremediation is a long-term mechanism and widely used in improving the ecological environment. Caragana korshinskii is an important water and soil conservation plant, its developed root system and plant drought resistance, heat resistance and other characteristics made it play an important role in the prevention and control of soil and water conservation and desertification.In this paper, we use the Caragana korshinskii as our research object, study the effect of pruning measure on physiology character and soil waters of Caragana korshinskii.The results are as follows:1. The pruning measures can significantly reduce the height of Caragana korshinskii,improve the number of branches and crown, and increase the aboveground biomass.2. Pruning measure improve the grassland community species richness and aboveground biomass, and some improvements on the height and community coverage. By contrast with the non-pruning, the impact indicators of forest community are not significant.3.By raising the forests community species richness, height and coverage, Pruning measures narrowed the difference between pruning and non-pruning forest grassland community index, but through the aboveground biomass, increased the forests grassland community difference.4.Study the physical and chemical properties under forests soil, we found that at the end of the growing season soil C, N, P and K is higher than the growth in the early season, the bulk density,soil pH is lower than the growth in the early season. Pruning measures reduce the soil bulk density and pH, and effectively improve the soil nutrient content, the improvement of C, N, P and K ratio were 5.95%, 5.74%, 5.57% and 5.95% respectively, and in the order of C > N > P > K.5.The Caragana korshinskii forest soil properties has the same change rule with the forest soil at the beginning of the growing season and the end of the growing period.Pruning measures effect the forest soil properties was significantly lower than its influence on forestssoil characteristics, the results showed that pruning measures were not significant impact on forest soil C, N, P, pH and other index.
